Our commitment to Sustainability includes using sustainable materials, employing sustainable practices, and maintaining a commitment to giving back to the community.
Our 100% Full grain vegetable tanned leather comes from a LWG GOLD Certified tannery. This certified leather is traceable, does not come from deforested areas, and all raw material is a by-product of the beef industry.
Certification maintains environmental management standards, energy/water consumption, waste management, and safety.
Cardboard, tissue paper, shoe sticks, polybags and hangtags are made of recycled materials.
Our formula is all-natural and not chemical based, meant to restore our products and extend their lives, reducing the waste of worn out product.
Our factory partners are Fair Trade Certified and have upgraded their facilities to meet the highest levels of environmental standards.
Reducing the Carbon Footprint
To increase efficiency and reduce the “footprint” of any given item to multiple distribution points between us and a retail store, our company has made a commitment to increasing drop-ship capability direct to the consumer.
Conserving as a Company
The company internally has banned all plastic bottled waters and paper cups from its offices, encouraging employees to use refillable containers.
CSR Initiative - Providing Relief and Support to Women
To celebrate the brand’s 10th Anniversary, we developed a Corporate Social Responsibility Campaign that aligns with our brand and our stakeholders, and is embraced by our employees to empower women in a meaningful way.
As a result, Patricia established the Emergency Fund for Women & Children directing funds to the YWCA of Knoxville to provide stability and sustainability for clients in their transitional housing program.
Giving Back Locally
In 2019 Patricia designed a bag exclusively to support Zoo Knoxville’s new Amphibian & Reptile Conservation (ARC) Center, donating 100% of the proceeds towards its creation.
For the past 3 years, Patricia Nash has sponsored the Mobile Meals “Power of the Purse” event in Knoxville, raising $63k+ in 2019 providing over 18,650 meals for area senior citizens.
