PFAS Statement
PFAS Statement
Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (known simply as PFAS) are a large class of thousands of synthetic chemicals used throughout society. Their unique structure is made up of long-lasting chemicals, components of which break down very slowly over time. PFAS are increasingly being detected as environmental pollutants, and some are linked to negative effects on human health. PFAS have been restricted by various regulations in the European Union and other countries around the globe for their toxicity to humans and the environment, and there is a continued push for new regulation to prevent these types of chemicals entering our environments.
Patricia Nash Designs, Inc. (“we,” “our,” or “us”) recognizes the severity of PFAS and is working with our manufacturing partners to focus on the prevention them being introduced into our products and materials making up our products. To the best of our current knowledge and understanding, no PFAS are added into our products or the materials making up our products. We are committed to continually monitoring our vendors, materials and products to eliminate PFAS.
