Di nuovo a Milano
Patricia and Jennifer are always happy to return to Italy, and they traveled there in September of last year as well as February of this year to attend the Lineapelle in Milan. Most people familiar with the brand know that Italy holds a special place in Patricia’s heart and in the history of the company. As she was starting Patricia Nash Designs, she was in Italy when she sketched her signature floret grape leaf on a cocktail napkin. It became the brand logo. With Patricia’s deep knowledge of tanning methods using natural ingredients, such as the bark of a mimosa tree, as well as other special leather finishes, and her uniquely elegant prints, her leather creations incorporate the passion and traditions of authentic Italian leather artisanship.
The new Josselin Satchel in Signature Floret Print, which features our iconic grape leaf floret in an allover print, is available now.
Lineapelle is the largest leather fair in the world. It typically features as many as 1,200 companies from 40 or more countries. It is a great place to learn about upcoming leather fashion trends, discover new methods, accessories, and materials.
In addition to attending the trade show, Patricia and Jennifer worked in time to see the sights, eat the great food, and, of course, shop. The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II (seen in the above center image) is Italy's oldest active shopping gallery and if you are in Milan, you won't want to miss it. The top Italian luxury brands all have offices in the open air gallery and it’s on the doorstep of the Duomo.
Patricia and Jennifer always make a point to stop at their favorite pasticceria, Cova Montenapoleone, even if just for a cocktail before dinner. It is a famous hotspot, known for its amazing menu of sandwiches, sweets, and cocktails. Tables can be hard to come by, especially during fashion week. The Irving Bucket Bag (above left), Albertine Crossbody Phone Case (above right), and Gimone Tote (seen on Jennifer) in Vintage Signature Embossed Quilted are available now.
