Patricia Nash announces

Emergency Fund for the YWCA

Knoxville & the Tennessee Valley

The Patricia Nash team has partnered with the YWCA Knoxville & the Tennessee Valley, to create the Patricia Nash Emergency Fund. This fund is meant to assist YWCA clients in securing affordable housing for women in our area. One of the main fundraisers for the YWCA is their Keys of Hope Luncheon, which took place virtually on Thursday, August 13th.

As a thank you to those who contributed to the YWCA's mission, Patricia Nash provided custom leather "Keys of Hope" keychains to those who donated during the annual fundraiser.

YWCA's Keys of Hope Women's Program was conceived in 2010 to provide safe, affordable housing for 58 women in downtown Knoxville for up to two years. The women they serve are empowered to seek lives beyond the ones they've been living: through improved employment and financial well-being, stable housing, and valuable new life skills, their clients are prepared for independent living.

In 2019, the YWCA housed 142 women and received over 1,000 calls for housing. The need is overwhelming! Funds raised through this event support life-changing programs that empower victims of domestic violence; provide a safe, nurturing environment for our most at-risk youth; encourage boys and men to prevent violence against women; and provide safe, affordable housing to women and their families, in Knoxville and throughout the Tennessee Valley.
