Happy Holidays
from my family
to yours!
If you know me at all, you know my family is at the heart of everything I do. I am incredibly grateful that my children and grandchildren are nearby and that we have been able to see each other during the pandemic. This will be my mother's 86th Christmas, and I understand how lucky I am that we have been able to quarantine together.
As I'm sure all of you have experienced, there have been scary moments when we were concerned about someone's health and made a point to distance from each other. Those are the most challenging times.
Usually, during Christmas, it's just us – my husband, our kids, grandkids, and my mother - so I'm fortunate that we will be able to share in the same traditions we do every year. Oyster stew and smoked fish; my mother's excellent bread and delicious cookies; our dancing cowboy Santa that the kids play non-stop; and then the flurry of presents that we rip through. The greatest gift of all is enjoying each other. I hope even if you can't be with your full family and enjoy the same traditions together, that you can bask in the memories of years past and be positive for the future.
I genuinely wish all of you a safe and happy holiday season. Thank you for your support and energy that you send to me daily!
Happy Holidays
