Summer Travel: Moments to Remember
The travel season is finally upon us and at Patricia Nash we are preparing for trips with family and friends to locations near and far. To help you be prepared for wherever your summer travels take you, we’ve created a Travel Guide of what Patricia and the women of Patricia Nash Designs can’t travel without this summer.
Patricia Nash · What should I take for 2 weeks on a private island off the coast of Maine – where no vehicular travel is allowed? I guess I will have to bring my Cavo Tote to carry a selection of cheese and crackers to enjoy with the delicious vino at our private vineyard. And my Atrani Backsack for our day hike through the forest. And a belt bag for a ride around the island on our speed boat.
Geez I need to take some wheeled luggage for my handbags! Will keep you posted!
Jennifer · Very excited about two family vacations this summer! First, Maine where we’ll overdose on Lobster and soak up the New England sun, and then in July we head to a big cabin in the Smoky Mountains where we’ll hike, hit up Dollywood, and most of all eat my brother’s delicious culinary creations at every meal!
What is my must-have item for the summer? I’ve fallen in love with my Lanza crossbody organizer because it holds all the essentials hands-free: lipstick, cards, phone, pens, and keys.
Liz · Girls Trip to Santa Barbara, CA, to tour my favorite local winery and soak up some sun in style at a boutique resort with my girlfriends! I can’t imagine exploring this beautiful city without my Emilia Drawstring Bucket. I love how this bag offers the function of a backpack with the style of a crossbody! It has plenty of room for all the souvenirs I’m planning to buy, a good book for the beach, and a light jacket for those cool California nights.
Sabrina · My fiancé and I are taking a road trip (our favorite way to travel!) to the Midwest this summer. We’re stopping by Mammoth Cave in Kentucky for our first adventure, then headed to St. Louis where we’ll be sightseeing for the first half of the week. Our second half of the week will be spent in Chicago for a concert in Wrigley Field.
I can’t travel without my Milano Weekender. I’m a light packer, so this bag is the perfect size to carry what I need without filling up the trunk of my car. And I can’t leave home without my sleek Stipes Sling for easy hands-free sightseeing.
Dorian · I have planned a special trip to Rome, Italy, followed by a scenic train trip to the Amalfi Coast to celebrate my big 4-0! I’m taking both my classic Tooled Cassini Wristlet and my latest obsession – the Torri Crossbody in Soft Veg Tan. They’re so easy, convertible, and are great for day trips, exploring villages, and can take me through the evening while I drink great wines and a little limoncello.
Donna · My family can’t wait to crank up the radio on a week-long road trip out West to visit some relatives we haven’t seen in forever! I will be taking my classic veg tan Benvenuto Tote, an easy favorite that goes with me everywhere. I also am packing a Torri crossbody in a fun print so when we go on outings I have something small that is super cute but still hands free for time spent with my kids.
Mimi · I can’t live without a Benvenuto, and am currently loving it in our Signature Map print. Whether traveling on a road trip or flying for work, I can throw my laptop, books, and agenda in it easily! But this is the season for weddings, so I’ve found the perfect little convertible clutch in our go-with-everything Sunflower print to wear all summer. I love that I can wear the Baku three different ways: as a crossbody, take off the strap to carry as a wristlet, or even remove the wrist strap and carry as a clutch.
Amy · My family just got back from a long weekend on the white sandy beaches of South Carolina. As important as sunbathing and pool time are, the highlight of each day is actually dinner that night. My everyday bag is the Benvenuto so I wanted something smaller and more fun for our coastal restaurant tour. The bag that I’ve been crushing on lately is the Giraldi Hobo and it was perfect! Large enough to fit my full size wallet, my new Bicchieri Sunglass Case, keys, and phone, but still small enough not to weigh down my light and breezy summer attire.
Edie · I’m so excited about flying to visit friends in Norway and Denmark! When traveling internationally, I would be lost without my Passport Organizer which not only protects my passport but also holds my multiple boarding passes and itinerary. Before the organizer, I would rush through the airport having shoved my passport and boarding tickets in various pockets in my handbag. Keeping everything in one easy to carry organizer, helps me travel place to place with ease.
Suzanne · I’m looking forward to a city adventure visiting my longtime friend in Milwaukee. I’m planning to rent a convertible sports car, so trunk space will be limited. The Milano is so roomy, able to hold nearly everything I need but still easily wedge into the trunk. We have lots of plans so I’m trusting my classic Casape Backpack to carry what I need while still being comfortable for sightseeing. And for special nights out, I’ve just treated myself to a Beaumont Flap in Soft Veg Tan which will look so trendy with all of my new clothes.
